scrapbook!

long time, no blog.. like everybody i've been super busy with christmas, new years and everything else! however, i did manage to finish a scrapbook for my grandmother in time for christmas.. this was her first christmas without my pop who, passed away this summer.. so i wanted to do something special for her.. it starts off about them and then there's a 2-page spread for each of their children (and their families).. enjoy! xo

cricut expression dust cover!

hi guys! i'm so excited and proud of myself for making this dust cover for my cricut. i found the pattern on customcrops.com under the free projects section (there are step by step videos to show you how to do it).

they also have a pattern there for a dust cover to fit the cricut create and a pattern to make your own tote bag for your cricut expression (i might attempt that next lol!).

i haven't sewed anything since i was in girl guides and i don't even own a sewing machine so i actually "sewed" this up with the bonding tape that she speaks about in the video.. i can't believe it turned out so good!

pink, purple and green challenge!!

robyn and karlee hosted a live pj party on friday night.. unfortunately i couldn't watch it live but i watched it first thing saturday morning! they opened up a challenge to create something using the colours pink, purple and green.. i didn't feel like using my cricut so i made this quick card using cardstock, a border sticker, a stamp and i reused the flowers from a card that was given to me.. i love to recycle and i think the card turned out great! xo

wednesday challenge/giveaway..

ok so pink stamper's challenge/giveaway today was to create something for halloween/fall.. this is a super simple card that i made for halloween.. i don't have any fancy-shmancy halloween cartridges (which is why i want to win one lol!!).. xo

another mps challenge!

today's challenge was to create something cute! my sister would laugh at this because she says that everytime i make/see something i say "it's sooo cute" lol!
